Diane's association with the Board first began in 1983 when she was hired as the Trustees’ secretary. She is the first and only woman in the Board’s 323 year history to be appointed as the Clerk to the Board. She represents the 12th generation of her family to reside in East Hampton and has committed herself to the preservation of our heritage and to the protection of the public’s right to access the “common lands” which the Trustees manage.
